Sailing Course
Basic Keelboat/Skipper "B" Sailing Qualification Course runs weekly from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend.
Upon completion of this course, authorized patrons can rent the Rainbow 24 (Level 5).
Schedule:
Friday evening: 6:00pm-9:00pm / classroom
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30am- 4:00pm/ water
Sailing Class: $250/$275 (AD/All others)
ASA Certification: $100/$125 (AD/All others)
Certification: American Sailing Association (ASA) 101 Basic Keelboat lifetime certification and ASA logbook included.
MWR Marina sailboat fleet includes rental vessels, 18'-25'

Basic Powerboat & Maryland Basic Boating Course
Basic Powerboat & MD Basic Boating Course runs weekly from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend. Learn basic controls, docking, anchoring, basic practical navigation, and practical rules of the road. Ages 18+
Upon completion of this course, authorized patrons can advance to Level 2 Powerboat rentals (Whaler 18).
Schedule: Memorial Day - Labor Day
Saturday evening: 5:00pm-9:00pm / classroom
Sunday: 8:00am-4:00pm / water
Cost: $175/$200 (AD/All others)
Certification: This course is a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) approved course and meets the Maryland legal requirement for persons born after July 1972 to operate a powered vessel.
